Computer generated 3D simulations are used in a similar way to physical scale models. The objective is to graphically represent the finished appearance or form of a project prior to the start of design development and construction. Photo-realistic imagery is also a useful tool when active marketing is a requirement, although this type of simulation is generally a specialist application.
Our computer based representations are generally used as a concept development tool and as such to aid the designer as well as the client in understanding the basic functional and aesthetic direction of a proposal. Like physical scale models they are instrumental in helping discover shortfalls and deficiencies in a proposal, which permits initiating remedial measures and plan adjustments and modifications.
Composite graphic arrangements, that make use of 3D imagery, are also useful architectural tools for presenting design proposals to a client and help convey the creative intent of a design proposal.
